Estate agents in England are now open for business
Currently in England, estate agents’ offices can now open and permitting viewings, open houses and other essential parts of the sales and letting process have restarted. Buyers and renters are now being able to complete purchases and view properties in person, while estate agents, conveyancers and removals firms can return to work while following social distancing guidelines.
I live in Wales and am looking to sell a property, what can I do?
In Wales, we are currently awaiting further guidance.
However, we are continuing to work through the lockdown, adhering to social distance guidelines and able to assist with any queries or concerns. If you are selling a property in England or Wales and wish to contact us as soon as your property is marketed (as opposed to when an offer has been accepted) we will take your instructions immediately. We are able carry out the normal ID and AML (Anti Money Laundering) checks and obtain essential information and documentation whilst marketing continues. This could include getting copies of their title records and plan from the Land Registry, getting questionnaires completed and locating missing documents and papers which often take time to obtain. We have made sure this can all be done by social distancing from the comfort of your own home.
Preparing a ‘sellers pack’ like this can not only take weeks off of normal transaction times. It also has the benefit reducing the number of abortive transactions.
Get in touch…
Please let us show you how being proactive like this will save time and stress and will get you moving as soon as possible. Simply give us a call when you instruct your agent to sell and we can get you sale ready.
