Harding Evans have awarded four new training contracts, welcoming Abigail Fillery, Georgia Bosley, Ryan Martyn and Shumi Yeasmin onto its renowned ‘Becoming a Solicitor’ programme.
All four have been already been working at Harding Evans in support roles, and have been promoted onto the programme to undertake their training to become qualified solicitors. They will be supported by their mentors – Victoria Smithyman, Gian Molinu, Siobhan Downes and Jamie Beese.
On the induction of the new cohort, HR & Operations Director Milena Roberts said “It’s been a pleasure to welcome Abi, Georgia, Ryan and Shumi onto our ‘Becoming A Solicitor’ programme. All four have been with Harding Evans for a while now and after impressing in their training contract interviews, I look forward to watching them all as they progress through the scheme and become the excellent solicitors that we know they will be.”
“We have worked hard at Harding Evans to develop a structured pathway for career development and progression, and it is something that we continually improve and evolve. We want our team to know that they can have a career for life here, something that was demonstrated perfectly last year with the promotion of four partners to the equity who had all undertaken their training contracts with Harding Evans, and it is important to us that we have the tools in place to allow the next generation to follow in their footsteps”.
The ‘Becoming A Solicitor’ programme recently gained recognition when it was shortlisted in the ‘Future Lawyer’ category at the Legal News Wales Awards.
Good luck from all of us to our four new trainees as they embark on the next stage of their careers!
