TKC Strengthen Offering Through Acquisition of J.P. Joinery (Kent) Ltd

Based in the borough of Tunbridge Wells, J.P. Joinery (Kent) specialise in the manufacture of traditional, modern and sliding sash windows, internal and external doors and staircases – all created using traditional, handcrafted methods and to the exact requirements of their specifiers.

Founded in January 2022 and focused on growth through acquisition, TKC Acquisitions are specifically targeting niche businesses within the construction industry, with a focus on high-end work.

Speaking on the acquisition, Mitchell Foley, Founder of TKC Acquisitions commented “more and more people these days are looking for something unique to show their personality through their properties. The bespoke nature of the joinery provided by J.P. Joinery allows for this, whilst also catering for heritage properties that may hold listed status and be restricted by what they can and cannot do. The acquisition also provides synergy with Iconic Stairs, who we acquired in August 2023, where there is often a requirement for timber treads or the client would prefer a timber staircase. We can now offer all of these services from under the one umbrella, without the need to outsource”.

In August 2023, TKC completed the acquisition of Omagh-based Iconic Stairs, market leaders in the design and manufacture of bespoke in-situ curved concrete stairs and landings aimed at the luxury market, with installations all across the UK and Ireland.
