Art on the Hill (AOTH) is a volunteer-run arts festival, produced in collaboration with the Cwtsh, Newport Museum and Arts Gallery, The Riverfront, Newport Live, and many other organisations and venues across Newport.
AOTH 2023 launched on Friday, November 24 with events taking place across Saturday 25 and Sunday, November 26. AOTH will produce an event map which can be downloaded and printed from the AOTH website, offering the opportunity for the people of Newport to explore the different exhibitions and events on offer and paper maps will be on offer from participating venues.
As usual, there is a great opportunity to get out and about in Newport with the Window Walkabout. Across the weekend you can see work from a wide range of artists in windows or on walls, including our Harding Evans building located in the heart of Newport. We will be showcasing the artwork of Andrew Phillips.
Festival Co-Director Sarah Goodey, said: “There’s something for everyone! Get out there this weekend and discover parts of Newport you’ve never seen before, support local artists and businesses, stamp the map and enter the prize draw, make a mark in a workshop, or dance yourself silly! Above all – have a great weekend!”
