The property sector has long been criticised for delays, poor communication and a lack of transparency between the parties involved in a transaction. Move Wales is a direct response to that. Unlike industry charters or pilot schemes, it is built on real Welsh transactions, with every party working from the same information from instruction to completion. The goal is simple – to give every home mover in Wales a calmer, clearer and more connected experience.
The initiative is backed by FinTech Wales, PEXA, the Open Property Data Association (OPDA) and Legal News Wales, and is powered by openmoove, a Cardiff-based proptech which secured £700,000 in investment earlier this year to scale its platform across the UK property sector.
Our Head of Residential Conveyancing, Wyn Williams, said:
“We are proud to be part of an initiative that brings all parties in the property sector together. We believe this represents a unique opportunity to improve the experience for everyone involved in a Welsh property transaction.”
Harding Evans joins Carbon Law Partners and Wrights Estate Agency as founding members. As a founding member, Harding Evans will have access to the openmoove platform, which connects all parties involved in a transaction.
This involvement further strengthens Harding Evans as one of Wales’ leading conveyancing practices. By being at the forefront of this initiative, we are demonstrating our commitment to innovation, collaboration and delivering the highest standard of service to our clients. It builds on our reputation for providing expert legal advice while embracing the technology and partnerships that will shape the future of property transactions in Wales.
