Builders Merchants play a vital role in the construction industry, often supplying materials on credit to assist contractors with their cash flow. For the majority of the time, this relationship works well and as soon as the contractor is paid by their customer, they pay off their debt with the merchant – but what happens if things go wrong?

Sometimes, the threat of litigation will be enough to encourage a debtor to pay, but if not, we will follow up with a warning about further action, ensuring the debtor takes collection proceedings seriously and you get paid what you are owed.
