Mike Jenkins

Mike is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial Property team at Harding Evans, bringing over three decades of legal and commercial experience to his clients.

Having previously worked with leading firms including Eversheds and Morgan Cole, Mike advises a wide range of businesses, developers and investors on complex corporate and property matters. He has played a key role in numerous high-profile transactions across Wales, including several hotel developments for Holiday Inn Express and the assembly of a 120-acre development site for the Lewis Group.

Mike provides strategic advice across a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Share and asset sales
• Management buyouts (MBOs)
• Commercial agreements and arrangements
• Commercial property transactions and development projects

In addition to his corporate and property practice, Mike has a particular interest in sports law and has advised clients across the sporting sector. His extensive commercial experience is complemented by senior leadership roles outside legal practice, including serving as former CEO of the Newport Gwent Dragons.

Mike graduated with an LLB in 1985 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1988 and is known for his practical, commercially focused approach to problem-solving.

Outside work, he is an enthusiastic golfer, a member of Royal Porthcawl Golf Club and currently serves as President of Cardiff Golf Club.
