Harding Evans welcomes Joseph!

Joseph May has joined us here at Harding Evans Solicitors.

Joseph joins us as a Solicitor in our Public Law and Private Litigation department. Previously, he worked at Watkins and Gunn as a trainee solicitor and before undertaking his training contract worked as a paralegal at Hugh James. He has an extensive nine years of experience in claimant litigation work.

Joseph will be part of our COVID-19 inquiry team here at #TeamHE – we are working with ‘Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice Cymru’ to assist them in their efforts to ensure that they can take part in the Inquiry and that the voices of the bereaved in Wales are heard.

When he’s not working, Joseph enjoys hiking and is training to climb Kilimanjaro. He also plays squash and can be found baking; he loves musical theatre and is a Drag Race super fan.

Lady Gaga also once gave Joseph a beer!

On why he wanted to join HE, Joseph said: “I’ve always known HE to be a high-quality law firm involved in an interesting and varied range of work. I also did a bit of work with HE during my time at university. I was volunteering with the Legal and Financial Advice Clinic, and we had a solicitor from HE attend every week to help with the advice.

“I ended up being invited to the HE New Year’s party and met Sam Warburton as a result. The chance to work on something as important, and high profile as the Covid Inquiry seemed like too good an opportunity to miss.”

We are delighted to have you join #TeamHE!
