Harding Evans Welcome Experienced Residential Conveyancer to the Cardiff Office

Harding Evans have welcomed Gian Molinu into their renowned Residential Conveyancing team.

A highly experienced conveyancer and a Partner of some 12 years, Gian has joined Harding Evans from a firm in Penarth where alongside the day to day, he gained experience in dealing with leasehold, new builds, and complicated titles. Gian will be based at Harding Evans’ Cardiff office, which can be found in the heart of Whitchurch.

Speaking on his move, Gian commented “It’s a bit of a full circle being in the Cardiff office as I was a pupil at Whitchurch High School and spent many a happy break time in Whitchurch Village, so I am loving being back here as a grown up! After 14 years in the same place and coming out of the pandemic, I just felt I needed a change. I have elderly parents who I help out and I am very involved in a local charity so I wanted a change of pace. I came to Harding Evans because I know Wyn (Williams, Head of Residential Conveyancing) and I felt it was a good fit. Harding Evans has an excellent reputation and having dealt with individuals in the firm before, I knew I was joining a firm in which I’d be happy. I’m a big believer in ‘what’s meant to be, will be’ and the opportunity came up at just the right time for me”.

Wyn Williams, Head of Residential Conveyancing at Harding Evans added “we are delighted to have added Gian to the team here at Harding Evans. His experience and reputation in the area is a huge asset to the firm and will help us as we continue our growth plan for our Cardiff office”.

Headquartered in Newport, Harding Evans opened their Cardiff office in June 2018 and have since gone on to become the fifth most active residential purchase conveyancer in the Cardiff area.

Away from the world of residential conveyancing, Gian is passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and is the Chair of Pride Cymru, one of Wales’s largest LGBTQ+ charities, who are responsible for putting on the annual pride event in Cardiff. Gian is also part of a team of volunteers behind Fast Track Cardiff & Vale which works to eliminate new HIV transmissions by 2030, while challenging the stigma that those living with HIV still encounter. He has had many public speaking engagements around the subject, including at the Senedd in 2022 as part of their events for World Aids Day.
