Newport-based Severn Sands acquired by Breedon Group

Mike Jenkins and James Young, Partners in Harding Evans’ Commercial team, have recently advised the Shareholders of Newport-based Severn Sands Limited, on their sale to Breedon Group.

Severn Sands, a family-run, marine dredging business, who specialise in marine aggregates, are one of Harding Evans’ longest standing clients, having been represented by the firm for over 40 years.

The acquisition confirms Breedon’s entry into the British marine aggregates sector, enhancing their operational capability.
