Lola joins our Commercial Litigation team

Lola has recently joined Team HE!

We’re pleased to introduce  Lola Harmes, who has joined Harding Evans as a Trainee Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team.

A Newport local, Lola has lived in the city all her life, apart from her time at university. A graduate of the University of Exeter, Lola is currently studying for her LLM at The University of Law alongside her training at Harding Evans.

Ben Jenkins, Head of Commercial Litigation, welcomed Lola: “We’re delighted to welcome Lola as a trainee in the Commercial Division here at Harding Evans. She is a fantastic addition to the team. We are looking forward to supporting her throughout her training contract, and helping her develop her skills and experience as she begins her legal career. Lola’s joining is also an important part of the continued growth of not only our award-winning and well-regarded Commercial Division, but also the Firm as a whole.”

Lola added: “It was always a goal for me to work within the Welsh community. Harding Evans’ reputation for excellence and their commitment to Wales reflects my own values and goals and is the perfect place to start my legal career.”

Away from the office, Lola enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her young cousins. She also loves playing netball, watching musicals and baking.

And there’s an extra string to Lola’s bow – she’s bilingual. Fluent in Welsh, Lola was educated entirely through the medium of Welsh throughout primary and secondary school. She hopes to learn even more languages in the future, with sign language and French high on her list!

Welcome to Team HE, Lola!
