The result is based entirely on client feedback, not a panel or a judging process.
The ranking comes from Legal 500’s annual research, which asks clients of law firms across the UK one simple question: on a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend this firm? The answers from nearly 3,000 clients in Wales were used to calculate a net promoter score for each firm, a standard way of measuring how strongly clients actually rate the service they’ve received, based on the balance between clients who’d strongly recommend a firm and those who wouldn’t.
We came in at number 3, in a top 10 that includes:

- Geldards
- Hugh James
- Harrison Clark Rickerbys
- Morgan LaRoche
- JCP Solicitors
- Blake Morgan
- Eversheds Sutherland
To even be considered, firms had to hold multiple Legal 500 rankings and receive enough client responses to make the data meaningful, so this isn’t a small sample.
Commenting on the findings, Amy Ulliott, UK Editor at Legal 500, said the result reflects something firms can’t manufacture: a client’s genuine willingness to recommend them.
