Holly Bee, Solicitor in Public Law and Private Litigation

We are delighted to welcome solicitor Holly Bee to Team HE.

Holly joins us from the Children’s Legal Centre Wales where she trained as a solicitor through the Justice First Fellowship- a scheme run by the Legal Education Foundation, who provide training and development for the next generation of specialist social justice lawyers. During her contract, Holly undertook a number of secondments across legal practices in South Wales, working in public law, human rights, education, criminal defence, and childcare. She was also able to spend time within the office of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales as part of their Policy and Public Affairs team.

Holly originally studied Psychology at Swansea University, then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law and subsequently a Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University, completed in 2018 and 2020 respectively.

Holly will be working within our Public Law and Private Litigation team. Speaking on Holly’s appointment, Craig Court, Head of the Public Law and Private Litigation department, said:  ‘I am delighted to welcome Holly to the team. She brings a lot of varied experience and knowledge with her, thanks to her multiple and wide-ranging secondments during her Fellowship with the Legal Education foundation. I look forward to working closely with Holly, and I’m excited to see how she develops and contributes to our team at Harding Evans. Welcome to the Firm!’

Upon her appointment, Holly said: “Harding Evans has established a strong reputation for its claimant-focused public law department, which resonates with my personal values and professional aspirations. I was previously fortunate enough to be able to obtain a training contract with a true focus on social justice law, and knew I wanted to continue that in my career going forward. Ultimately, I am excited about the opportunity to be part of a team that is making a tangible impact in the lives of individuals and communities.”

When she’s not at work, Holly enjoys doing DIY projects, anything outdoorsy and eating good food. She is also proud owner of three sphynx cats (the hairless ones!) called Salem, Peach and Binx.

Welcome to the team, Holly, it’s great to have you on board!
