Harding Evans will once again be returning to Pride In the Port as sponsors for 2025!
Back in 2023, we launched our legal services for the LGBTQ+ Community at Pride In The Port, and we have hosted engagement stands at both the festival in Newport, and at Pride Cymru, ever since. This is a service area that, as a firm, we are continually working to improve and grow to enable us to support the community as best we can.
We cannot wait to be back at Pride In The Port on Saturday 6th September. Once again, we will be ‘Volunteer Sponsor’, will take part in the parade through Newport and will have a stand where you can meet the team, access information regarding our services, and get yourself a free festival glow-up!
Speaking on the announcement, Andrew Mudd, Chair of Pride In The Port, said “We’re delighted to welcome back Harding Evans as a sponsor for Pride in the Port 2025. Their continued support, the services they provide and the actions they take speak volumes about their commitment to fairness, inclusion and standing with the LGBTQIA+ community in Newport and beyond. We’re proud to work alongside them to help build a city where everyone can live with pride.”
Haley Evans, Marketing & Communications Manager at Harding Evans, added “at a time where it feels like the LGBTQIA+ community are coming under increasing pressure, we are proud to stand by their side. We have worked hard to foster an environment for both our clients and our colleagues that is approachable, inclusive and welcoming, and our support for Pride In The Port is a big part of that. We had a fantastic time last year and can’t wait to be back!”
Harding Evans were recently recognised at the inaugural Legal News Wales award, where we won the Social Impact Award for demonstrating the “true spirit of allyship” which “has profoundly, positively impacted society as a result”. You can read more on that here.
