Leading South Wales law firm Harding Evans has appointed business marketing graduate, Caroline Smith, as marketing assistant in a move to help accelerate the growth of the thriving Newport-based practice.
Caroline, who studied at the University of Wales Newport, will be
responsible for the firm’s online marketing activity and its
extensive programme of seminars and networking events in the South
Wales business community.
Originally from the Isle of Wight, she joined Harding Evans from
UK-wide timber-frame specialist Benfield ATT, based at Caldicot,
where she was responsible for promoting the firm in the self-build
and lifestyle sector.
She said: “I have always been attracted to the legal sector and am
looking forward to applying my marketing skills in this interesting
and challenging environment.”
Harding Evans marketing manager Neil Canning said Caroline’s arrival
represented a key investment by the firm in building its client base
– particularly among businesses across the region.
“We have built a strong team of specialist lawyers across many areas
of business law and the expansion of our marketing team enables
Harding Evans to establish new working relationships and expand
existing relations with corporate clients across South Wales,” he
said.
Harding Evans is currently the second largest Welsh law firm outside
Cardiff with around 130 staff. This is expected to double within the
next five years in response to increasing client demand for high
quality legal services.
