Leading South Wales law firm Harding
Evans has been nominated as finalists for several categories at
the prestigious Welsh Law Awards including Firm of the Year for
the second year running.
Three finalists have been nominated for Firm of the Year and the
winner will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 5th November in
Cardiff.
Based in Newport Harding Evans has
grown significantly in recent years and is now ranked as the 8th
largest firm in Wales. Five years ago the firm was ranked 20th and
has invested heavily in recruiting high quality staff as well as
in new technology, marketing and client care to become the largest
firm in Gwent, offering a specialist range of commercial and private
client services.
In addition trainee Vicki Giblin has been selected as a finalist
for Trainee of the Year and is up against two other finalists from
Cardiff law firms. Vicki, 32 originally trained to be a teacher
and taught Latin and Classics for six years before changing careers.
After completing her legal studies she joined Harding Evans in 2003
and has impressed everyone with her positive approach and understanding
of her client’s needs.
Vicki is also involved with the marketing of the firm and attends
various business events as well as assisting with Harding Evans’
legal roadshows which are run in conjunction with the South Wales
Argus. Outside of work Vicki sings in a band called Belvedere Mountain
Express and is due to release a CD later this year.
