Newport based Harding Evans Solicitors
has once again expanded with the appointment of 4 new trainee solicitors,
taking the total within the firm to six.
Gareth Fortey, Emma Rose, Fahmida Aslam and Gareth Pembridge have
been taken on to cope with an increase in work from all areas of
the firm. Each trainee will spend 6 – 8 months working with
various teams including Family, Crime, Non-contentious and Residential
Property.
All four completed their legal studies in Wales and are enjoying
the challenges of undertaking their own workload as well as helping
their colleagues with other cases.
Gareth Fortey who works in the crime department comments “It
is well known within the legal profession that it is becoming increasingly
difficult to secure a training contract and we are all delighted
to be offered a contract with Harding Evans”.
As well as being a trainee solicitor Gareth is also a keen golfer
and his most notable success was winning the Gwent Schools Championship
at the age of 16.
Zep Bellavia, Managing Partner at Harding Evans says “We
are extremely pleased with the calibre of all our trainee solicitors.
This is the highest number of trainees we have ever had in the history
of the firm. Harding Evans is riding high at the moment, having
recently been crowned Welsh Law Firm of the Year and we are set
to continue with our programme of expansion in 2005”.
