A commercial lawyer from leading firm Harding Evans Solicitors
recently completed the Flora London Marathon and raised over £2000
for charity.
Sian Reynolds started training for the marathon last December and
decided to raise money for Kith & Kids, a charity which helps
disabled children improve their quality of life by focusing on their
abilities.
As well as asking family, friends and colleagues from Harding
Evans to sponsor her, Sian also organised a Charity Dinner which
included a raffle and auction. Over 100 people attended and some of
the prizes in the raffle included passes to the St David’s Hotel
spa, a signed Neil Jenkins rugby shirt, and a bra from a well known
Welsh pop star!!
Sian completed the marathon in under five hours and said “The
training was incredible. Although I am not sure whether I would like
to do another long training run in snow up to my shins, I am
delighted to have raised so much money for Kith & Kids”.
Next year Sian will be taking part in the Clipper Round the World
Yacht Race, a high profile sailing competition, which will see her
sailing around the world in a year. Sian has won many prestigious
national and international sailing competitions and has been
selected as one of three people to be the face of the Clipper race
and will appear in advertising to promote the race.
