Homebuyers offered conveyancing updates on the Web

Leading law firm Harding Evans recently launched a new conveyancing service aimed at speeding up completion times and reducing some of the frustration for clients.

The service makes use of modern technology and is called “web data”. It allows clients to access details regarding the progress of their sale or purchase via the internet and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Clients who wish to use the service are given a user name and password which makes the system absolutely secure.

Details of their case can be seen through a series of key stages and dates of completion for each stage. All details are 100% accurate as all information is supplied directly from Harding Evans’ case management system as it is updated.

The service was launched at a presentation to local estate agents, many of whom now recommend it to their clients. Feedback from users of the service has been extremely positive and found it easy to use and has saved them time and frustration.

John Allison, Partner and Head of Residential Property at Harding Evans comments “We are delighted with the take up of the new web data service as it speeds up the conveyancing process for our clients. There are fewer letters, faxes, telephone calls and meetings and the service is accurate and transparent and improves the service we deliver to our clients”.

Harding Evans is one of the first firms in Wales to use web data and further improves the efficiency of their 20 strong residential property department which already completes over 500 transactions a month.
