Following another successful series
of legal roadshows last year, the South Wales Argus and Harding
Evans Solicitors have linked up again to deliver a series of free
weekly legal clinics in June.
Three solicitors from Welsh Law Firm of the Year Harding Evans will
be on hand at each roadshow to offer free and expert advice on a
range of legal issues. The Argus mobile unit will be visiting
several areas in Newport including Maindee, St. Julian’s and
Bassaleg, and for the first time the roadshow will also be setting
up in Cwmbran.
Last year solicitors from Harding
Evans saw a record number of people and helped with a variety of
problems including boundary disputes with neighbours, employment
issues, making a will, personal injury claims, disputes with
tradesmen, problems with endowment policies and matrimonial issues.
This year the roadshow celebrates its 10th anniversary and has
provided invaluable legal advice for hundreds of people. Argus
editor Gerry Keighley said “We are very pleased to team up with
Harding Evans again for the roadshows as they provide a valuable
service to our readers”.
Zep Bellavia, managing partner of Harding Evans comments “Each year
we have been delighted to help the large number of people who turn
up to the roadshows and by teaming up with the Argus our solicitors
are able to provide advice to people who might have felt
uncomfortable about coming to a solicitor’s office.
The first roadshow will be held on 8th June at the Maindee shopping
centre pay and display car park and anyone can come along between 6
– 8pm for free initial advice on any legal problem and talk in
complete confidence.
