Harding Evans is a well established regional law firm which delivers a specialist range of legal services to commercial and private clients. We have over 120 staff including 11 partners and 70 fee earners.
Based in Newport, South Wales we have expanded significantly in recent years to become the largest firm in Gwent and the 8th largest in Wales, competing directly with the larger Cardiff firms.
In 2005 Harding Evans won the Award for Outstanding Achievement at the high profile Five Counties Business Awards and in 2004 we were crowned Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Welsh Law Awards, ahead of strong Cardiff competition.
In 2003 we won Business of the Year at the Five Counties Business Awards and medical negligence specialist Ken Thomas was named Lawyer of the Year at the Welsh Law Awards.
Our employment department has been awarded an exclusive contract from the Legal Services Commission to provide eligible legal organisations in Gwent and Dyfed Powys with employment law advice and support. Harding Evans also holds Specialist Help Quality Marks for 10 of its services and is one of only a few firms in Wales to hold and maintain such a high number of Quality Marks.
We have significantly increased our profile as a leading firm in Wales as a result of winning a number of awards as well as through consistent media coverage, several high profile seminars and a number of other marketing led initiatives.
We are the only firm in Gwent in the top 10 law firms in Wales and our objective is to continue to enhance our profile as a commercial firm, as well as continuing to deliver high quality legal services to our private client base.
